NXD YouTubeBox Polaroid Layout

As shown in this example, the Polaroid layout allows you to render multiple instances of the module and stack them if necessary (however, the layout in your PageBuilder/template must be adjusted accordingly).

In this demo the Polaroid mode is not displayed on small devices (can be adjusted in the module settings). Please note that these are simply three video player module instances; the rotation and Polaroid "look" can be adjusted in the module settings. The placement and animation are part of the template used on this page.

Available configuration options

In the Polaroid layout, the module allows you to make various settings relating to the layout. These include:

  • Min Viewport

Define the viewport size at which the Polaroid layout should be used.

  • Polaroid Rotation

Positive/negative value in degrees that defines the rotation of the Polaroid.

  • Horizontal Padding

The horizontal padding of the container; if it is reduced in size, the Polaroid may be overlaid by other objects or even by subsequent elements.

  • Vertical Padding

The vertical padding of the container; if it is reduced in size, the Polaroid may be overlaid by other objects or even by subsequent elements.

  • Polaroid Designer

Special field that defines the colour of the Polaroid and the padding around the video. "Open Settings" displays the individual points for padding at the top/left/right/bottom in a modal window; these can be defined individually.

  • Border Radius

The border radius/rounding of the corners of the Polaroid can be selected in different units.

  • Aspect Ratio

The aspect ratio of the effective video container. If an aspect ratio other than 16:9 is selected, video scaling may be necessary to avoid black bars.

  • Video Scaling

Custom scaling value for the video within the Polaroid. Can be used to avoid black bars.

  • Container Shadow

Shadow effect for the Polaroid itself.

  • Custom Classnames

Field for custom class names that can be used to define additional styles.
